Evidence report highlights exciting year for UK NSC

The UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) has published their annual evidence report Screening in the UK: making effective recommendations 2015 to 2016.



It summarises the recommendations made during the year and the evidence behind those recommendations.

The UK NSC reviewed a huge volume and range of topics during the year and made many recommendations, including the recommended change in the NHS Cervical Screening Programme of the move to human papillomavirus (HPV) testing as primary screening for cervical disease as well as many other decisions relating to other screening programmes.
