Working for Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust – two new roles

Two new roles as outreach coordinators are available at Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust.

Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust, the only UK charity dedicated to supporting women affected by cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities, is currently recruiting for two Outreach Coordinators, to be based in Manchester and London. Our new Coordinators will help to develop the vital cervical cancer prevention work that we do.  The Outreach Coordinators will be developing local outreach which will feed into the long term vision of the charity to move towards eradicating cervical cancer. This will allow the charity to educate and empower women to make decisions about their own health, reduce health inequalities and incidence of cervical cancer.

These new roles aim to connect with hard to reach women who may currently not be participating in cervical screening or understand its importance and thus have an increased risk of developing cervical cancer. The Coordinators will also be working with health care professionals and local health authorities to improve screening and vaccination uptake and creating continuity and improving best practice around cervical cancer prevention and engaging communities. These roles will be improving health at a grassroots level and ultimately in this position you will help save lives!
