A look beyond the cells during EBUS
CLINICAL INFORMATION
- 70 Year old male
- Presented with shortness of breath, fatigue, and cough
- Observations normal. Raised CRP (244mg/L)
- PMHx: Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia – treated with ibrutinib, and treated prostate adenocarcinoma
- CXR – pulmonary nodularity
- CT Chest – RUL subpleural nodule and subcarinal lymphadenopathy
- PET – Intense uptake in subcarinal node (yellow arrow) and 16mm RUL nodule (green arrow)
