Speaker Biographies

Miss Lawrence is a gynaecological oncologist based at the Royal London, a busy tertiary gynaecological cancer referral centre. She chaired the steering group for the You Screen trial and is a professional clinical adviser to the Department of Health and Social Care on cervical screening. She chairs the Expert Reference Group for gynaecology at the North East London Cancer Alliance.

She will present on the emerging results of the You Screen Trial, which assessed new end-to-end pathways for introducing self-sampling for non-attenders within the NHS cervical screening programme

Dr Ong is an ST5 in Histopathology currently working at St Thomas’ Hospital, London
